Socami Industry SA is an industrial company headquartered in Douala, Cameroon. Born from the entrepreneurial spirit of both Cameroonian and Belgian founders and from the vision – “A Bridge to Progress in emerging markets” – Socami Industry is focused on the production of crude palm kernel oil / focused on transforming palm kernel nuts into high-value, non-food products, primarily for the cosmetics sector. Our operations combine local sourcing, full waste recovery, and clean industrial processing to build a circular model that creates both environmental and social impact.
Currently, thousands of tons of palm kernels are discarded or burned each year due to the lack of industrial facilities offering a complete processing solution. SOCAMI Industry SA is addressing this gap by turning these residues into high-value products.
Our products will be sold locally, replacing imported alternatives, offering a more affordable solution for the domestic market and establishing a closed-loop production system within the country. The local production of palm kernel oil from production residues is a unique innovation in the African context, combining economic opportunity with environmental stewardship.

Ideally located near the port of Douala, our facility is designed for efficient, high-volume processing and export of Crude Palm Kernel Oil (CPKO). With a crushing capacity of 40 tons per day and 320+ tons of monthly output, Socami Industry meets the rising demand from soap producers and industrial clients across Africa, while boosting local value chains from within.
